Botanical Gardens at Plant Paradise Country Gardens
Plant Paradise Country Gardens is a solar powered, eco-tourism business that passionately promotes environmental sustainability for the purpose of conservation, display, enjoyment and education. The gardens provide a place of inspiration, learning and well-being for all. Our educational programming allows us to share our knowledge and communicate to the public environmentally sustainable gardening practices and the importance of plant conservation and diversity. The permanent collection of plants is monitored, labeled and documented. The botanical gardens provide “on-site” conservation with a diversity of plant species within natural habitats and different ecosystems. Our horticultural skills allow us to grow plants that may be disappearing in nature; thereby conserving and increasing plant diversity.
On the 24 acres at Plant Paradise Country Gardens we actively maintain and manage areas of natural vegetation, forest trails, creek, pond and perennial gardens. We are vigilant in controlling invasive species which are a threat to biodiversity and habitat loss. The botanical gardens at Plant Paradise Country Gardens are a testament that you can have a beautiful garden without pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers. With spectacular plant combinations for sun and shade, the gardens showcase the vast selection of perennials we grow and sell.
